Bio:Brian Shine is a fourth-generation nonferrous metals recycler and CEO of Manitoba Corporation, which operates two plants: Lancaster (Buffalo), NY and St. Louis, MO with a primary focus on processing high-grade copper scrap.
Shine has held many leadership positions within ISRI, including Chairman of the Board from 2018-2020; membership committee chairman, audit committee chairman, and member of the board of directors. In addition, he served as president of the ISRI Empire State Chapter from 2004-2006.
Shine graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and also obtained a certificate from the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University of Buffalo, where he has since mentored more than a dozen candidates through the program. He also is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and a graduate of Leadership Buffalo.
